DR MAHNAZ KHAN
After completing her studies at The University of Sydney, Mahnaz worked in the largest dental hospital in the southern hemisphere – Sydney Dental Hospital as their first Oral Health Therapist. Working alongside dental specialists in the fields of Paediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, Periodontics and Special Needs Dentistry has made Mahnaz much sought after in both the Public and Private Dental sectors for her extensive skills and experience.
Mahnaz takes great pride in her work and is passionate about oral health, patient care as well as teaching and mentoring. Working as a Clinical Educator with Bachelor of Oral Health Students from The University of Newcastle and University of Sydney in the fields of Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. In 2019 she made the move from Sydney to Melbourne and has been part of the practice since its opening.
When asked what she loves most about Geelong, Mahnaz will tell you it is the perfect balance of a small-town community with big city feels, located right by the coast! Since moving to Victoria, Mahnaz has continued to pursue her interest in teaching, gaining a position of Clinical Tutor at Melbourne Dental Clinic for final year dental students from the University of Melbourne. Mahnaz believes its never too late to improve your oral health and wellbeing, providing early intervention and preventive treatment options for patients of all ages. Her warm and energetic attitude makes her much loved by all her patients at Dentists & Doctors. Outside of the practice you will find Mahnaz enjoying the local brunch scene, hiking or trying her hand at new recipes.
